This year marks the rare reappearance of a mid-priming Mexican San Andrés wrapper, used only once before, back in 2018. Lighter in color than the usual maduro, it brings a brighter, more expressive profile to a Nicaraguan core of binder and filler rolled at My Father Cigars S.A.
Expect a sophisticated mix of coffee, espresso, and toffee, without the heavy pepper punch typical of earlier editions. The result is a rich yet balanced medium-to-full-bodied experience.
