In 2014, Crowned Heads partnered with the esteemed García family of My Father Cigars to craft the Las Calaveras line in Nicaragua, diverging from their typical Dominican production.
Inspired by the "La Calavera Catrina" etching and the Día de los Muertos holiday, these cigars honor the deceased annually, featuring their initials on the bands.
2024 marks the 10th anniversary of Las Calaveras, celebrated with two editions: the standard Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2024 and the special Las Calaveras Décimo Aniversario.
The anniversary edition, limited to 2,500 boxes, uses an Ecuadorian Habano oscuro wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers to deliver a medium to full-bodied smoke with flavors of earth, cocoa, mocha, nuts, and hardwood.
