It opens with notes of earth, fruit, caramel, and wood, with fruit and earth alternating in intensity as the cigar develops. Black pepper emerges in the second third, becoming more prominent in the final stage, where the flavor balance falters slightly.
Teniente Angela is a full-bodied 6 x 52 cigar from Casa 1910’s Soldadera Edition, handcrafted in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera La iSLA by Hostos Fernandez Quesada. Wrapped in a dark Ecuadorian Habano maduro leaf, it features Dominican and Mexican binders with a Dominican-Nicaraguan filler blend. The cigar delivers bold notes of cocoa, wood, nuts, earth, and black pepper, making it an ideal pairing with a stout beer.
