THE KRAKEN IS COMING

After a lot of quiet work behind the scenes, The Kraken is finally ready to surface.

This blend is the result of a friendship and constant feedback loop with ILLPRO—one of MCP’s most opinionated palates.

ILLPRO’s been in our corner from the jump, trying a lot of what we put out and giving us unfiltered notes. So when the time was right, we locked in and went to work on something that felt different— And with Hostos Fernandez at Tabacalera La Isla, it had the perfect setting to evolve.

We started with a solid foundation. Then, somewhere along the way, ILLPRO dropped off the best deer jerky I’ve ever had— unrelated, but I’d like to think we added some spice to the blend after this because of it.

As you may know, The Kraken is a massive octopus-like sea monster, which is why we specifically blended this cigar to pair best with octopus… No, it’s not actually made to pair with octopus. But we’d be lying if we said that wasn’t part of the conversation. You know how it goes.
