The first premium handmade cigar to carry the VILLIGER name was created in the year of the company's founding, 1888. The VILLIGER 1888 Nicaragua is the next great cigar to carry this legacy forward. It comes in an elegant dark blue cabinet box of 20, available in Coronita, Robusto, and Toro formats.
René explains that they sought to create a cigar that’s enjoyable but not too strong—suitable for new and seasoned smokers alike. They wanted to expand the brand with distinct versions that are easy to enjoy and explore.
The value of the experience was also highlighted. Rather than storing your cigars long-term, some smokes—like the 1888 Nicaragua—are best enjoyed soon after arriving. You can still age them if you'd like, but they're ready to go from day one. Humidor storage is always an option, but not a requirement.
