OUR BEST CIGAR OF THE SUMMER? ... INTRODUCING MADCAP BY ALEC & BRADLEY | My Cigar Pack

Some projects take shape quietly. Others announce themselves the moment you light them.

Madcap belongs to the second category.

From the first conversation to the final delivery, this project carried a different kind of energy. Bigger. Bolder. Less restrained. It felt like a natural escalation of everything we have been building toward, not just as a subscription, but as a platform willing to take creative risks alongside the people we trust most.

This summer, we asked a simple question. What happens when we take the gloves off and commit fully to a large-scale exclusive?

Madcap is the answer.

A Milestone Project for My Cigar Pack

This is the largest production project we have ever taken part in.

That matters, because scale changes everything. It changes how you plan, how you blend, how you think about consistency, and how you make sure every single person opening a pack has the same experience. When something is small and limited, it can live in its own bubble. When it is big, it has to hold up everywhere.

Madcap was built with that reality in mind.

We worked closely with Alec and Bradley to make sure this cigar could live across all of our channels. It is in the regular packs. It is in Factory Direct. It is available through Cigar Yard. And most importantly, we made sure that as many members as possible would get one.

This was not about scarcity. It was about access.

Why Alec & Bradley Made Sense

We are no strangers to working with Alec and Bradley.

Earlier this year, they held a full My Cigar Pack takeover. That experience set the tone for what was possible when creative alignment is genuine instead of transactional. These guys do not rush releases. They show restraint. They let ideas develop fully before putting them into the world.

That approach mirrors how we think.

If you look at their body of work, there is a clear pattern. Every release carries a story that extends beyond the cigar itself. Not in a gimmicky way, but in a way that connects craftsmanship across disciplines.

Kintsugi draws from Japanese repair philosophy. Gatekeeper pulls from classical sculpture and mythology. These are not random aesthetics. They are frameworks that inform the entire project.

Madcap follows that same lineage, but it pushes further.

Letting the Crazy Through

We have never been shy about experimentation.

At My Cigar Pack, we believe there is room in this industry for both tradition and controlled chaos. Madcap lives exactly at that intersection. It is a cigar that embraces contrast instead of smoothing it out.

The blending approach alone demanded patience. Working with tobaccos that do not naturally want to cooperate is not a shortcut to anything. It requires time, trial, and an acceptance that not every attempt will work.

This project took time because it had to.

Madcap is not about comfort. It is about tension. About balancing elements that challenge each other until something cohesive emerges. That is the risk we were willing to take, and Alec and Bradley were willing to take it with us.

An Exclusive, But Not a Closed Door

Right now, Madcap is an MCP exclusive.

We are the only ones carrying it at the moment, and that was intentional. Exclusivity here is about stewardship, not ownership. We wanted to make sure this cigar launched in an environment where its story could be told properly and its scale could be managed responsibly.

That said, the door is open.

If retailers want to be part of this project, we are happy to have those conversations. This is not about cutting anyone out. It is about building something strong before expanding outward.

As always, we encourage you to support your favorite retailers. If Madcap ends up there in the future, it will be because the timing and alignment made sense.

More Than a Blend, a Statement

Madcap does not hide what it is trying to be.

This is a cigar that embraces eccentricity. From its construction to its artwork, everything about it signals that it is meant to stand apart. That does not mean it is chaotic for the sake of being chaotic. There is intention behind every decision.

Even the artwork tells a story.

A rabbit reading a novel. A strange man. Playing cards. An extinct bird. A slightly unsettling cat. None of these elements are accidental, and none of them are explained outright. That ambiguity is part of the experience.

We invite people to connect the dots in their own way. To bring their own interpretation to the table. Madcap is not prescriptive. It is suggestive.

Summer Energy, Without Being Seasonal

We introduced Madcap during the summer, but this is not a seasonal cigar.

Summer gave us the momentum. The longer days, the social smokes, the willingness to try something new. But Madcap is built to live beyond that moment. It is meant to hold up whether you are smoking it poolside, late at night, or months from now when the weather shifts.

Calling it our best cigar of the summer is not a claim about flavor supremacy. It is about impact.

This project represents a turning point. A moment where everything we talk about, collaboration, scale, creativity, trust, came together in a tangible way.

What This Represents for My Cigar Pack

Madcap is not just another release.

It is a signal of where we are going.

We want to keep working with people who are willing to take chances. We want to keep creating space for projects that do not fit neatly into existing categories. And we want to keep bringing those experiences directly to our community.

Large-scale exclusives are not easy. They require commitment on every side. But when they work, they create something that feels shared instead of segmented.

That is what Madcap feels like.

The Start of Something Bigger

One of the most important lines in this project is also the simplest.

We are only getting started.

Madcap is not the end of a chapter. It is the beginning of a new one. A chapter where collaboration deepens, projects grow, and ideas are allowed to breathe fully before being released.

This cigar exists because multiple parties trusted each other enough to push forward without guarantees. That kind of trust is rare, and we do not take it lightly.

Final Thoughts

Madcap is wild, but it is not reckless.

It is eccentric, but it is not random.

It is bold, but it is grounded in real craftsmanship and real relationships.

If you smoked one this summer, you were part of something bigger than a single cigar. You were part of a moment where scale met creativity, and exclusivity met accessibility.

If you have not smoked one yet, the opportunity is still there.

And if you are wondering what comes next, so are we.

That is the fun part.

We will see you in the next chapter.
