Blood Medicine began as a Nashville-exclusive event cigar back in 2015, named after a historic pharmacy whose old brick wall still reads “Blood Medicine.” After small-batch revivals in 2022 and 2024, the line officially expanded and now it evolves once more with the B Positive Limited Edition 2025, arriving mid-September.
While it keeps the familiar Ecuador Connecticut binder and Nicaraguan fillers of the original, the wrapper takes a bold turn: a Nicaraguan Corojo replaces the previous Ecuador Habano. The result is a deeper, more muscular take on the blend.
Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber puts it plainly, he wanted a richer, darker expression of Blood Medicine. Experiments with broadleaf and San Andrés didn’t hit the mark, but the Corojo wrapper did, bringing new intensity and elevating the profile into something far more powerful.
